Kit#1

Green Bay and Western Depot and Corporate Headquarters

EngineHouse Services, LLC and Laser Dynamics are pleased to present the
Green Bay and Western Depot.

Since blueprints were not found and are believed to be destroyed in the fire of the depot in February of 1977, this kit was derived from all available photos, interviews from people that worked for the GBW, and the help of the Green Bay Western Historical Society. This rendition of the building is modeled for the most recent time in history, which is after the late 1930s addition.

Because the trend in our great hobby is to have products ready to run, EngineHouse Services, LLC has partnered with Laser Dynamics to offer a kit that is easy to construct, yet have the detail to make a structure that you will be proud to own. With that in mind we have employed an easy way of constructing using interlocking parts that help make it “fall” together. This gives the modeler flexibility to create it with minimal details, a full interior, lighted, or any configuration in between, even at a later date.

Kit #2

Like a Chicago and Northwestern Depot

CNW#2

Both standard (pictured above) and mirrored versions are available. The kit is laser cut basswood and plywood, clapboard siding, laser scribed freight room floor, and paper shingles included.
We also have a dress up kit that includes laser scribe flooring for the passenger waiting area, the Stationmaster area, exposed studded interior walls for the freight room, interior doors and a wood platform.

This kit conforms with the UP Copyright. The depot finished size is 9.875 X 3.3125. It is derived from the plans from the CNWHS. It is made with laser cut clap wood basswood siding, 1/64", 1/32" and 1/16" plywood, basswood (wood planked laser scribed in freight area) and styrene that fits well to make a very strong construction. The interior walls are included with the ticket window cut in along with the doorways cut in. Pose able windows with clear styrene panes and along with peel and stick laser cut window frames are include to assure the proper size windows. Laser cut shingle strips are include to provide a life like three dimensional roof. Full drawings, parts list and instructions make this kit easy to assemble. Also available is a Depot Dress-up kit.
